Four questions I ask before I pick any tool I’m going to use with AI.

I use website building as the example because that’s where it shows up loudest for me, but this is how I decide on everything now: SaaS, automations, internal systems, all of it.

The short version: an LLM is a pattern engine. So it works best on things it has seen a lot of, that are still true today, that it can actually read, and that it can actually change. Most stacks fail at least one of those, and then people blame the model. Plain files pass all four.

At the end I show you my actual setup, because when I say it’s just files, I mean it’s just files.
