Cheaper, Better Web Analytics (And ALL The Data Lives In My AIOS)

I got an email quoting me $168 a month for the analytics setup I actually needed, and by the end of the day I had switched providers, drained every year of history out of the old ones, and built an Analytics tab inside my AIOS. This is the whole story: why I left Google Analytics, why I moved to Plausible in January, the site limit I hit running more than 10 client sites, and the API access I really wanted. The switch itself is cheaper and easier. The part that mattered more is that the archive now lives in my own database, so the analytics provider is just a sensor I could swap tomorrow.
