Stripe
Payment processing platform. The industry standard for accepting payments and managing subscriptions.
Stripe is just the best. It’s everywhere, it’s everything. If you’re going to integrate with something, you’re going to integrate with Stripe first. I tried to keep everything in-house with the QuickBooks payment processor, and while that works, it’s not supported enough across all the different platforms.
The one thing I need to figure out is properly bookkeeping the expenses that come through Stripe, because the data gets abstracted when it comes into QuickBooks. You know exactly where everything came from when QuickBooks processes it directly, but with Stripe there’s an extra layer. Still, Stripe is my payment processor of choice at this point.
