Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP
Low-profile boom arm that stays hidden below the camera frame.
I have a few of these. One holds my mic, and another actually holds a GVM light on a softbox. The low-profile design is exactly what I want because I hate seeing a mic arm coming down from above or sticking out the side of the shot. The way my setup is now, the microphone sits right in front of my face and you can barely see the arm itself.
I can swing the arm out of the way when I don’t need it and it stays low enough that I can still see my monitors. The magnetic cable channel is a nice touch. The newer models seem to have a slightly better tightening mechanism than the older ones. These arms are versatile and I’ve had no real issues with them. If you’re going to be on camera, go low profile.
