I started using Close not too long ago, and I have a love-hate relationship with it. It’s kind of a good CRM and it kind of sucks. They nickel and dime you hard. You can’t even do basic automation on the Solo plan, which is twenty dollars a month. The pricing is annoying.

It has leads, opportunities, and companies. Simple fields, custom fields, and an inbox thing that I don’t really use because I just use my email. There’s no way to get reminders on your phone easily unless you set up automations. I’ve thought more than once about just building a simple CRM for myself. But the biggest thing I can say is that it’s simple enough that it’s actually gotten me to follow up and stay on top of my service work. So it’s not bad. It just leaves certain things to be desired.
