Framework Laptop 13
Modular, repairable laptop with swappable ports and upgradeable internals.
I’ve gone through a lot of Windows laptops. Dell Inspiron 15, Dell Inspiron 7000 gaming laptop, Huawei MateBook X Pro (which was basically a MacBook knockoff), and then I landed on the Framework a few years ago. If I’m going to stay on Windows, I can’t think of another laptop I’d rather use.
The port customization is probably the best feature. You can put whatever ports you want in there, and that’s amazing. I don’t miss having a touchscreen. Occasionally you want to reach out and tap something, but it’s not necessary, and the screen stays a lot cleaner without fingerprints all over it.
I didn’t buy it specifically for the upgradeable angle, but it’s nice to know I could swap things out if I wanted to. It runs fine for what I need. I have multiple devices, phone, laptop, desktop, and everything stays synced through Google Drive and Google Photos, so I have access to everything no matter which device I’m on.
