Elgato Cam Link 4K

I’ve pushed hours and hours of full-length footage through this thing and it’s been a workhorse. I did have a couple issues early on when I was using an HDMI extender adapter, but once I ditched that and went directly into the Cam Link, it’s been flawless.

People say you can use any capture card, but it’s not something I want to mess around with. I have a lot of Elgato stuff and basically all of it has been great. I tend to stick with what I know works. If I was setting up fresh today, I’d probably look at a PCIe capture card instead of USB since I don’t take this anywhere. But there’s nothing bad to say about the Cam Link 4K. It does its job.
