I used these heavily during all my travel last year for filming videos and interview content. They work great. Make sure you use windscreens if you’re outside, because wind noise will ruin your audio otherwise. There are a lot of settings you should configure, and it’s worth spending time getting those dialed in.
The best part about DJI’s ecosystem is that everything connects together. The mic syncs up with the Pocket 3 and the Action 5 Pro automatically, which is a huge convenience factor. If you’re getting one, go for the Creator Combo with the extra battery and the stand. They have the DJI Mic 3 now, so if you’re buying fresh, you might want to look at that instead. But the Mic 2 has been fantastic for everything I’ve used it for.
