If you’re going to power the amount of stuff I have on my desk, you need an uninterruptible power supply. I plug everything into a power strip, then into this. The power has gone out multiple times, and I don’t think my equipment got fried because of it, so I consider that a win.
From an actual battery backup perspective, it’s not going to power everything for very long, and I don’t expect it to. I just need enough time to shut everything down properly. I did have to replace the battery once, which was no big deal. Occasionally it beeps randomly or sounds like it cycles on and off, but the device itself has been reliable. If you have a serious desk setup, get one of these.
